COST

By supporting a local community fiber network, we can achieve long-term pricing stability, improved reliability, and introduce internet service provider competition to our residents among many other positive benefits. The Town of East Haddam is exploring what it would take to make a community fiber owned network a reality. If we can get enough community participation which includes residents, businesses, and of course the Town municipal properties we could launch a program starting between $70 - $75. The goal over time would be to achieve 100% participation, driving the cost even lower and improving connectivity for ALL.
